I probed the exposed subgrade using a'A-inch-diameter steel foundation probe. Exposed subgrade visually consisted of brown silt. Resulting penetrations indicated the exposed subgrade at probed locations is medium stiff to stiff. Based on our observations and probing, it is our opinion that subgrade observed today as indicated on the attached site has been prepared in general accordance with project requirements and our geotechnical recommendations.
