Per our discussion with Taylor Morrison, it's our understanding that we will need to provide a rebar dowel connection for the slab-on-grade to the existing cantilever retaining wall in place of the #3 bars @ 24"o.c. shown at the top of the retaining wall per Bulletin CT-02 (06/20/2022). See attached page CT-05.1 for the dowel connection. Note that this slab-on-grade dowel connection may also apply to adjacent foundation walls. I observed lot subgrade to consist of brown silt with some areas covered by approximately 2-3 inches of 3.6"-0 crushed rock. I used a%_' diameter steel probe to evaluate the consistency of the subgrade and based on penetration resistance, the subgrade observed today generally appeared to be stiff to very stiff. Conclusion Based on our observations, it is our opinion that the building subgrade observed today as indicated on the attached site plan, have been prepared in general accordance with the project plans and our geotechnical recommendations.
