12/01/2023 Library Newsletter - Books & BitsDecember 2023 www.tigard-or.gov/library Subscribe! Coming Soon: Fanno Creek Trail Connections Project Thanks to a partnership between the Oregon Department of Transportation and the City of Tigard, Fanno Creek Trail will be expanded with three new segments. As a part of this project, boardwalks and a bridge will be added just east of the Library’s book drop loop. With a planned start of late December 2023 to early January 2024, you’ll notice changes in the drive-up book drop, Library parking lot, and Fanno Creek Trail near the Library. The book drop loop will be closed, and the book drop will be temporarily relocated to the covered area across from its current location for the duration of the project. Fanno Creek Trail will be rerouted closer to the Library and across the parking lot to avoid the construction area. You’re encouraged to use the automatic book return during construction. Curbside service is available during the Library’s open hours and can also be used for returning materials if needed. Park in the spot labeled “Curbside Holds Pickup” and call the number on the sign. Watch Books and Bits, the Library website, social media, or on-site signage for updates. Learn more about the Fanno Creek Trail Connections Project. Library Holiday Hours Plan your visits in advance!
