Our Utility Billing Department informed me that there is an existing 1"water meter serving all three units. Therefore, the "Residential II Rate Method" applies for sewer connection as stated in the attached System Development Charges form. The following fees will be assessed to connect these units to the sewer: • Plumbing permit: $81.20 (for first 100 ft.of sanitary sewer). • Sewer permit: $9,937.50 for 1.5 DU's(1 DU for first 5 bedrooms=$6,625.00+ .5 DU's for the sixth bedroom = $3,312.50 for) • Sewer inspection fee: $35.00 Total Fees=$10,053.70 The individual units were not individually assessed sewer connection fees due to the 1" water meter and the units being located on the same lot. The quickest way to permit this property is to apply for the permit in person between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. We are closed on Fridays.
