Hey Tigard, You Deserve a Break!
Here are five ways to take one at Tigard Public Library!
1. Caregiver Break: Caring for yourself is one of the most important things you can do as a
caregiver. Our friends at Washington County Family Caregiver Support Program and the Older Adult
Behavioral Health Initiative will show you how to "Take Care of Yourself and Take a Break"
Wednesday, March 1, 3-5 PM. Learn more about this new Family Caregiver Series and register.
2. Movie Break: Seniors need a break too, and we have just the series for you! During Movie
Matinees for Seniors, we'll screen classical Hollywood cinema every month beginning Thursday,
March 2 at 1:30 PM.
3. Spring Break: Looking for something to do during your students' week off? Stop by Tigard Public
Library to check out books, movies, and games. While you're here, vote for your favorite Oregon
Reader’s Choice Award and Beverly Cleary Children’s Choice Award nominees!
4. Coffee Break: Have you visited El Cuadrilatero Cafe? Get a coffee, sandwich, pastry, or other treat
on your next visit to the Library. The cafe is now open seven days a week!
5. Puzzle Break: Put your worries aside and your skills to the test when you help assemble our
community puzzle! The puzzle is waiting on the second floor, near the graphic novels and DVDs.
Now that you're energized by your break, find even more ways to learn, connect, and have fun with the
programs and books in this newsletter!
