SUSPECT ARRESTED IN TWO ARMED ROBBERIES
A man is facing several charges after investigators believe he committed two armed
robberies in the span of a few hours on Monday, February 13tH
At 1:10 PM, Tigard Police were called to a bowling alley in the 11600 block of SW
Pacific Highway. Employees reported a man pulled a gun on an employee,
demanded money and ran off. Several officers responded to the area to set up
containment and a K-9 track was conducted, but the suspect was not immediately
located.
Then at 3:38 PM, Beaverton Police responded to a restaurant in the 6100 block of
SW Lombard Avenue for another armed robbery. Employees there reported a man
hit a worker in the face with a gun and got away with money. Again, several officers
responded and the suspect was found nearby.
He has been identified as Lenddell Sneed, age 33. He was taken to the Washington
County Jail, charged with two counts of robbery I (Measure 11 crimes), theft 2 and
assault 4.
