After informing LUSH that their plumbing permit can be issued over the counter they have requested we continue with
an emailed permit as a contractor has not been selected yet.

system over 8 feet in height,then a building permit is required, and the racking system is required to be
engineered. Because of the engineering calculations,this type of a permit is not an over-the-counter permit. We
require the following for a permit:

• (2) sets of engineering calculations.
• (3)sets of plans.

Also, our client is really interested in pulling an Early Start/ Interior Demo permit to get started as soon as they
can. Regarding the early start/demo permit, can the GC continue working while the overall permit is being
reviewed or would the GC need to stop work after the demo? If you could help confirm the limitations the GC
will have under the early start permit that would be extremely helpful.
I understand typically the GC can work up to the first inspection with a demo permit. Please confirm if that
applies in the City of Tigard as well.

Likewise. After reviewing the scope of work on the Electrical Permit Application,electrical plan review is not
required, and the low voltage Electrical permit will need to be obtained by the electrical contractor online
through our website: https://aca-prod.accela.com/TIGARD/Welcome.aspx.
With regard to the Plumbing Permit Application, plan review is also not required as Washington Square Mall is
not a new building. I noticed that the site utilities was included for the interior plumbing; however,the fee
schedule on the front of the application was not completed. Once we receive the revised application, I will
place it in our queue for processing. Please allow 1-3 weeks.
Lastly, I have created the Mechanical permit for Lush, and this permit has been routed for plan review. The
permit number is MEC2022-00691. We will let you know when the permit is ready to pick up.
