Wrapped up the first month,3 winners:Jim Wolf, Kathleen S,Joe Patton,Janet Webber, Halsted
Bernard from the Library. Prizes were dispersed.
2nd month is Plank Challenge. We have planking going on all over the city.
3rd month is going to be general fitness/activities. Louis is in charge of figuring out the details.
People seem to be aware of and participating. Some new participants we don't normally see.
4th Quarter: Nancy and Doreen are thinking about it still. Don't have anything planned as of yet.Some
discussion of"Random acts of kindness". Nice to have a "competition"that doesn't involve physical
activity.
Ideas:
• Canned food drive with the Halloween gathering
• Posting kind acts on website
• Acts outside the city
• Group of businesses downtown
• Bulletin Boards-Space is an issue
• Some sort of communication for marketing of whatever we decide to do.
• Article could be a summary of outcomes with a little article.
• Might think of doing random drawing for prizes.
• Random act of kindness for all city.
• Kindness thermometer.
• A List,Rave Review, Shining Stars, Bright Spots, Kudos...tie in to the random act of kindness
Kathleen will volunteer to help with bulletin boards.
