I observed the exposed subgrade to be covered with a skiff of crushed recycled concrete. Based on the exposed sidewalls, the subgrade generally consisted of brown and gray silt with trace sand. Using a Y2" diameter steel foundation probe, I evaluated the condition of the subgrade. Resistance to probe penetration indicated the subgrade to be generally stiff. Based on our observations, it is our opinion that subgrade for lot 1 77 observed today, as indicated on the attached site plan, has been prepared in general accordance with our geotechnical recommendations Distribution: Attachments: Site Plan (1) Reviewed by: This report presents opinions formed as a result of our observation of activities relating to geotechnical engineering or environmental services, We rely on the contractor to comply with the plans and specifications throughout the duration of the project irrespective of the presence of our representative.
