Purpose: Observe subgrade for lot 225 & 226
Outstanding Issues:
Prior to my arrival, a crews had prepared subgrades for lot 225 & 226 (see site plan). Most of the subgrade
was covered with 1" of 3/"-0" crushed rock. The exposed subgrade was consisted of brown silt/clay and
occasionally basalt in lowest section of the lots. Resistance to penetration of 1/2" diameter steel foundation
probe indicates that the subgrade had very stiff consistency in lower section and stiff to very stiff consistency
in upper sections.
Based on our observations, it is our opinion that subgrade for lot 225&226 observed today, as indicated on the
attached site plan, has been prepared in general accordance with our geotechnical recommendations.
