I attached it here as well, let me know if that works for you. For the electrical inspector, please specify that we are having a 400 amp service upgrade to the property, but it will be directed to a "split pack" meter. So the house is keeping a 200 amp meter and the ADU is also getting a 200 amp service meter which will both be located at the front of our garage. So although we are upgrading to a 400 amp line j from the road/power line (this is done by PGE and arranged by our electrician with PGE), the main house is not getting a 400 amp service installed, which why I don't think we need to include that in the permit process or check that box. x The electrician said that this is very common now that most ADUs are 100%electric and main homes also have increased electrical needs these days. Otherwise the home would have a 125 amp electrical panel and an ADU would have a 75 amp panel...which may not be sufficient over time. Please know that I anticipate the water meter fee with be around $16,400 and I have talked to Jill about that, I just think if its slowing the process down, I already know what the fee will be and I can give Jill a call tomorrow to maybe have her forward our conversation onto you for fee calculation proposes if needed. According to the CWS Rates and Charges, I'm assuming the rate method would be the Residential II Method. However, this method requires us to know the total number of bedrooms in order to calculate sewer fees. So, I'm assuming that we would need to determine the number of bedrooms in the existing dwelling to complete the calculation, and then the ADU sewer permit fees would be what has not been paid? We would appreciate it if you could clarify. Thank you for your time.
