Mechanical plans were just submitted for two hoods and interior HVAC duct work. Work includes new Type I &Type II hoods, HVAC distribution (RTUs by sep. permit), grease interceptor, millwork and finishes. Note rooftop equipment&screening under separate permit by Landlord". The submittal package included equipment cut sheets for a Landmark rooftop unit and a Sunline rooftop unit, but the description says this is to be submitted separately by landlord. The description also mentions new Type I and II hoods however equipment cut sheets were missing from the packet and we need (2) of each. We need a more accurate description of just the work being performed under this application and plans submitted. It appears that this permit is just for the hoods and duct work. Also, grease trap, millwork, etc. should be described on other permit applications. When submitting applications, please describe the specific scope of work that is applicable for each permit type. We will modify the description on this mechanical application to "Installation of new Type I &Type II hoods, HVAC distribution (RTUs equipment & screening under separate permit by landlord)." Please inform the landlord that they will need to submit a separate mechanical permit application, (2) copies of plans and (2) copies of equipment cut sheets with their application submittal and it will be routed to planning for review of screening requirements. To complete this submittal, please submit (2) copies of equipment cut sheets for both the Type I and II hoods. If the total number of pages is under 50,you can email the files to TigardBuildingPermits@tigard-or.gov and we can print (2) copies of each for$0.25 per page or you can submit them to the drop box in the lobby of the Permit Center, Monday- Thursday, 8 am to 5 pm. I had the Electrical Engineer review and complete the Electrical permit application, and snice no boxes were checked, I assume none of them applied to our project. I know for a fact many of the boxes do not apply. In this case, I'll wait until the Electrical Contractor is selected in order for them to apply, as you suggest. Typically, plan review is not required for altering branch circuits for a tenant improvement, therefore once you have assigned an electrical contractor, they can obtain this permit online using their online account at https://aca-prod.accela.com/TIGARD/Welcome.aspx. We will not process this permit in house. • Plumbing Permit Application: Plan review is required for replacement of the grease trap interceptor. Please provide the completed application and (2) sets of plumbing plans and submit hardcopies to the drop box in the lobby of the Permit Center, Monday-Thursday, 8 am to 5 pm. We are closed on Fridays. No appointment is necessary for submittals. Please allow 4-8 weeks for processing and the permit technicians will contact you when the permit is ready to issue and with instructions to pay fees online.
