6. TIGARD ENGINEERING UPDATES
Joe Wisniewski noted that the Council adopted the TSP. For the next CIP project list current
projects will be reevaluated and TTAC will be asked for input. The contingency levels have escalated
20 to 30% due to supply chain issues. Courtney Furman was hired to fill the Senior Project Engineer
position and she act as the city's Traffic and Transportation Engineer. She will handle the Traffic
Calming Program and Policy, with TTAC input for project ranking. The Main St. Green St. project
contractor was hired, but supplies are not available until mid-April due to supply chain issues. Many
projects will experience similar delays and other jurisdictions have noted the same supply chain
issues. Other utility work must be completed prior to the project start.
