the demolition permit:the square footage of the existing building, and the valuation of the work being performed.
Additionally, would it be possible for you to send a copy of the site plan that is slightly larger?The existing plan does
not fill the 8.5" x 11" paper.

Planning has concluded application completeness review, however on August 17,we identified that utility information
was missing from the site plan. Our utility billing division has confirmed that the property is not being billed for public
sanitary sewer(per email below) so the existing septic system must be shown on the attached site plan so that we can
review and inspect the septic for proper decommission. Please show the location of the septic on the attached map and
return to TigardBuildingPermits@tigard-or.gov so that we can complete building plan review. If you do not know the
location, please contact the Washington County Environmental Health Department at 503-846-8722 for information.
Once we have the revised site plan showing the septic location,the plans will be routed for engineering and final
building review before we can make the permit ready to issue.
Before we can issue the permit, planning has informed you that they require a Clean Water Services service provider
letter be submitted prior to permit issuance. When you receive this, please email the service provide letter to
Tiga rd B u i ld i ngPe rm it s @tigard-o r.gov.

Per our conversation, please see below for contact information of city staff that may help you to locate the utilities and
answer question about tree protection requirements:
• Sanitary sewer lateral location: Trent Brickey, engineering technician, 503-718-2686,trentb@tigard-or.gov.
• Tree protection: Planner on duty, 503-718-2421,TigardPlannerOnDuty@tigard-or.gov.
I have also attached a copy of the site plan example. Some of the information is not required, however we need to
know at a minimum where the sanitary sewer and water utility lines are for inspection purposes. We also need the
square footage of the buildings written on the site plan.

Can you please tell us what the proposed use is for this lot after demolition? Also, the site plan is missing the following
items:
• Site utilities for water,storm and sanitary sewer lines.
• Septic location. Please confirm if this property is connected to public sanitary sewer or a septic tank? If a septic
tank,the location will need to be shown on the map.
• If this is for land use development, is there a tree protection plan required where trees must be shown as
protected on the site plan?
