After reviewing your submittal, and the description of work listed below, land use approval was not necessary considering exterior work did not take place. Therefore, a Building Permit Application, site plans, and architectural plans were not required to be submitted for review—as we previously requested. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. However, although a Building permit was not required for structural work, separate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing permits were necessary. With regard to the plumbing scope of work, whenever new fixtures are being added, we require a Water Meter Fixture Unit Worksheet to be completed and emailed to our Utility Billing Department for approval. They check to see that your existing water meter is sufficient. If not, then the existing water meter would need to be upsized with additional fees due. I have attached the Water Meter Fixture Unit Worksheet above for you to complete and email to our Utility Billing Department at UBonlinepay@tigard-or.gov. The approved form will need to be received before the Plumbing permit can be issued. Concerning the Electrical Permit Application,The Description of Work section describes a furnace replacement as well as light fixture replacements with only (1) branch circuit marked in the fee schedule. Please verify the quantity of branch circuits. A second branch circuit is only$7.42. Also, if you intend to complete the work yourself, we will need you sign the Electrical Permit Application attached above in the "Owner installation" section. The Mechanical permit is ready to issue now. The balance due is$104.72, and I have attached an invoice above for you to reference. These fees can be paid online at https://aca-prod.accela.com/TIGARD/Welcome.aspx by searching for the permit record number MEC2021-00886 under the Building tab. There is a 3%service fee for credit cards, but e-checks do not have a service fee. Once paid, please email the Permit Technicians at TigardBuildingPermits@tigard-or.gov so that we may issue this permit and email the permit paperwork to you. Please note that we will need to know if you will be completing the work as the homeowner or if a contractor will be hired. If a contractor is completing the work, we will need their CCB license number prior to the issuance of this permit. Lastly, we can return the plans to you if you would like them back. I can place the plans in our open Permit Center conference room for you to pick up at your convenience. Please let us know if you would like them back, and I will place them in the conference room. Allow sender I Block sender Ken, For the permits that we are needing to pull (Mech/Elec/Plumbing), I wanted to check and see why we would need to do a site plan and architectural plans for an interior remodel and have a building permit? If these are required: For architectural drawings are you looking for a floor plan of the house?
