SUBMIT TWO(2) SETS OF PLANS SPECIFYING:
A. Roof area and nearest street.
B. Attic vents: Provide 1 sq.ft.for each 150 sq. ft.of attic space. Vents shall be
located in the upper 1/3 of the roof. Provide 1 sq. ft. for each 300 sq. ft.when
cave and attic venting is provided.
ote: No permit is required for residential re-roof if not more than two(2)layers of
roofing will exist upon completion of the re-roofing.

1. Tear off and dispose of base fleshings along parapet wall and around curb penetrations to allow for the proper
CITY OF TIGARD installation of the new roofing system.
3UILDING DIVISION 2. Furnish and install a ''/:" EPS fan fold recover board over the existing roof system and mechanically attach.This will
maintain the existing fire rating for the new roof assembly.
3. Over the recover board,furnish and install a new 60 mil reinforced TPO roof membrane and mechanically attach to
the substrate.
4. All field and base flashing seams will be cleaned before being hot air welded.
5. Furnish and install new TPO base fleshings around all curb penetrations.
6. Furnish and install pre-manufactured inside/outside TPO corner fleshings at curb penetrations, thru wall scupper
drains, pitch pans and wall fleshings.
7. Furnish and install new pre-manufactured pipe boots on all pipes up to 6"in diameter complete with a new
stainless steel clamps and sealant.
8. All pipes larger than 6' in diameter will be field wrapped with unreinforced TPO membrane complete with a new
stainless steel pipe clamp and sealant.
9. All pipes where a pre-manufactured pipe boot is not feasible will be field wrapped with unreinforced TPO
membrane complete with a new stainless steel pipe clamp and sealant.
10. Furnish and install TPO patches at all T-Joints in the field membrane.
11. At all gas and electrical lines, furnish and install pre-manufactured TPO pitch pans.
12. Furnish and install pre-manufactured TPO pitch pans around the line sets off the condensing units.
13. Furnish and install a one part poly-urethane rubberized pitch pan sealant in each pitch pan.
14. Furnish and install new TPO base flashings at all parapet walls that will extend up and across the top of all walls.
15. Furnish and install new TPO base fleshings at all parapet walls that will extend up the wall a minimum of 8".
16. Furnish and install a metal anchor bar to the top of the flashing and mechanically attach every 12"on center.
17. Furnish and install new TPO membrane in the roof drain assemblies and set in water cut off mastic. Install the
clamping ring to the drain body compressing the TPO membrane into the water cut off mastic to insure a watertight
seal. Reinstall drain bolts complete with washers, replacing as needed on a time and materials basis.
18. Reinstall the drain screens back in place once the drain rings are installed.
19. Furnish and install new pressure treated wood blocking complete with TPO slip pads at all electrical and gas lines.
Install new clamps to secure the lines to the new wood blocking.
20. Remove the existing wood blocking from under the HVAC units and replace with new pressure treated wood
blocking. Furnish and install TPO slip pads under each sleeper to protect the new roof membrane.
21. Remove the existing wood blocking from under the condensing units and replace with new pressure treated wood
blocking. Furnish and install new TPO slip pads under each sleeper to protect the new roof membrane.
22. Fabricate and install new 26 gauge galvanized clip metal to be installed along the outside of all parapet walls.
Mechanically attach the clip to the wall.
23. Fabricate and install new pre-painted standard color 26 gauge galvanized standing seam coping cap around the
perimeter of all parapet walls.All new metal coping caps will be installed by hooking the front face into the clip
metal to secure the face of the metal to the building. Mechanically attach to the wall with new neoprene gasketed
fasteners.
24. Fabricate and install new pre-painted standard color 26 gauge metal counter flashings around each HVAC unit and
mechanically attach to the curb with new neoprene gasketed fasteners.
25. Upon completion of all the work we will have the manufacturer's representative inspect the roof for completeness
and for the issuance of the factory warranty.
26. Upon completion of the above work, remove all tools and debris and leave the site in a clean and orderly condition.
