Hope this helps. 2021-04-29 Anonymous 2 0 1 3 I live at 11375 SW 95th avenue and the speeding cars Please do something about the speeding cars on 16:51:13 -0700 User:85183501 are terrible! Cars fly through my street going 35- our street. 40MPH.It's bad!I don't understand why there are speed bumps on the lower part of 95th,but not up by my house on the hill. The road narrows in front of my house and our mailbox has been hit by cars 3 times (hit and runs) in a little over two years. Please do something. Many people walk on our street and it's so dangerous. Also some cars park in front of our home and we can't exit our own driveway to the left. The street is too narrow. 2021-04-30 Anonymous 1 0 1 2 It took awhile at first for me to realize it even I'm very excited for that Fanno Creek connection 09:25:41 -0700 User:85282530 connected. I am concerned with the amount of homeless making camps along the Fanno Creek trail. In that area, there is improvement but someone has been camping on the creek if you go back behind Main St Apartments where Ash St runs into the trail. That little connector has teen drug use and homeless encampment. It is my entrance to the Fanno Creek trail and does not feel safe with that activity. 2021-04-30 Anonymous 3 0 4 3 What is your plan for Fern?I say leave it alone! Fern St.is a VERY small street, barely wide enough for two cars to pass in some places. We like it this way,as there are only a small number of Homes on Fern St,and there is no need for it to be made larger for local traffic. We need the cut through traffic to be rerouted on Walnut where it belongs,or at the very least have some more serious traffic calming amenities placed on Fern St. I know the traffic dept surveys appear to show a reasonable amount of traffic at reasonable speeds, but that is NOT the experience of people who live on this street.Thank you for your consideration! 2021-05-16 Anonymous 2 0 1 4 1 love that Tigard calls out areas where people walk, but Any without sidewalks! 07:58:47-0700 User:51518911 we need sidewalks 2021-05-20 Anonymous 1 0 1 1 My wife and I live off Molly Ct. Key Themes *ON& Breaking Connectivity Barriers with OR-217 Crossings • This TSP prioritizes two new active transportation crossings of OR-217 • One at SW 95th Avenue and another in the vicinity of the Tigard Triangle. • Adequate vehicle connections into the Triangle are also considered. r Key Themes *ON& Continuing to Invest in Our Trail System • Moving forward with key projects: • Closing gaps and improving roadway crossings on Fanno Creek trail; • Design and construction of the Red Rock Creek Trail; and • Modernization/upgrades to existing trails. r Key Themes *ON& Highlighting Bottlenecks Issues & Roadway Alignment Opportunities Thinking systemically and improving circulation by advancing needed transportation studies to identify right-sized solutions at locations such as: • North Dakota Street/Tiedeman Avenue/Greenburg Road area • Scoffins Street/Hunziker Street alignment at Hall Boulevard r Key Themes *ON& Partnering on Regional Mobility Solutions • Many of the most important improvements aren't fully within Tigard's jurisdiction, such as: • Upper Boones Ferry/72nd Avenue/Durham Road Circulation Study; • 99W Regional Investment Strategy; • Bull Mountain Corridor upgrades; and • Partnering to improve transit access, speed & reliability. • These projects require regional coordination, but Tigard can be a leader in carrying these efforts forward Big Focus : Creating Strong Active Transportation Networks THE FOUR TYPES OF CYCLISTS STRONG7-% 5% 51 % 37% i CONFIDENT i Strong and Fearless cyclists Enthused and Confident Interested but Concerned NoWayNo How individualswill will ride regardless of cyclists are comfortable riding cyclists enjoy riding and rot ride a bicycle, regardless roadway conditions, with on most types of streets, but would like to ride more, but of the circumstances. limited or no bicycle-specific prefer having designated are afraid to do so without infrastructure. bicycle infrastructure and physical bicycle infrastructure may be uncomfortable in improvements. some situations. r v t Taylors rry Rd c o LOcust,St zit. ONF , FEHR PEERS _ Measures Tigard is Already Taking As part of its recent planning efforts, as well as this TSP, Tigard is already committed to taking positive steps to reduce GHG emissions: • Increase Residential Density • Limit Residential Parking Supply • Increase Job Density • Provide Pedestrian Network Improvement • Provide Transit-Oriented • Construct or Improve Bike Facility Development • Construct or Improve Bike Boulevard • Improve Street Connectivity • Expand Bikeway Network • Provide End of Trip Bicycle Facilities • Implement Transit-Supportive Roadway Treatments The potential GHG emissions mitigation from these measures range from 0.2 percent to 31 %, with numerous co-benefits associated with them. Additional Measures the City Should Consider There are a number of quantifiable measures that Tigard is not currently implementing that could be considered: • Implement Commute Trip Reduction • Provide Employer-Sponsored Vanpool Program (Voluntary) • Price Workplace Parking • Implement Commute Trip Reduction Program (Mandatory Implementation and • Provide Community-Based Travel Monitoring) Planning • Implement Commute Trip Reduction • Implement Employee Parking Cash-Out Marketing • Provide Electric Vehicle Charging • Provide Ridesharing Program Infrastructure • Implement Subsidized or Discounted • Implement Market Price Public Parking Transit Program (On-Street) Adoption Process — Comprehensive Plan Update • Update Chapter 12 narrative and findings to ensure consistency with 2040 TSP • Continue to reference TSP for more detailed information • Include TSP Goals in Comprehensive Plan • Remove transportation policies and reference TSP for those (avoid duplicating detailed policies in multiple documents) r Adoption Process — Development Code Updates • Adopt amendments to implement 72nd Avenue recommendations • Street cross-section standards • Road alignment changes • Driveway spacing, fire access, other standards • Describe additional possible future code amendments in technical appendix; defer adoption to future process • Bicycle parking at transit facilities or mobility hubs • Electric vehicle charging stations • Traffic Impact Analysis (TIA) procedure and coordination • Transit facility requirements for new development • Refinements to street cross-section standards r - Z _ . 1 -•• Y 1.•'.. 1 f rte. -' ,1-o ri"✓ 'f• - J- '. . 5 31.Lti. • te TY yai•fr ig ;:: F ;. a y,► Sys t. i q , fir'• A04illn ' t Tig arhe .o = TSP Executeiv ummar M ; - Discussion & Questions j TIGARD FEHR PEERS _
