A skiff of rock had been placed over exposed subgrade. I used a %Z" diameter steel foundation probe to evaluate the consistency of the subgrade based on side walls. Resistance to penetration indicates generally medium stiff to stiff subgrade conditions. Subgrade appeared to consist of native brown clay and silt. Based on observations and probing, footing subgrade observed today and indicated on attached site plan are being prepared in general accordance with our geotechnical recommendations provided aforementioned recommendations are enacted.
