After we make health and safety adjustments to staff work areas and schedules, we will focus on er delivering a few high-priority services like curbside holds pickup and gradual returns of checked-out materials. Countywide library services will gradually resume in a coordinated effort between all Washington County libraries. All libraries may not offer the same services at the same moment, but we are all working together. Our services will look different than they did before, but what hasn't changed is our gratitude for your continued support. On May 19, Washington County voters showed strong support for _ libraries by passing the library funding levy. Every LIBRARY Monday in June we'll be teaching something new on our YouTube channel. Learn how to design jewelry, make a pop-up book, make i your own ice cream, and more! You can subscribe, and be one of at Home I the first to watch, or you can tune in on your own time. Throughout the month, you can also build your origami skills with tutorials, and learn how to clean up your bike,just in time for the warm months. ® Want to get interactive? Celebrate Pride month with a virtual live family story time and a Pride-themed Bring Your Own Book club for teens. All this, and story time videos most weekday mornings, too! This year, UMMFR KADM summer will look a little different in Tigard, and so will the summer r FOR ALL AGES reading program. We've designed a simple, all ages program so everyone can read for fun this summer. An activity flyer will be arriving as a full page spread in the Tigard Times, which will share ideas for reading-related projects and challenges. No registration is needed this year. Our Friends of the Library will celebrate everyone's reading with donations to three local organizations who are supporting the community; Just Compassion, Supafresh Youth Farm, and Packed with Pride. Also, anyone who participates can come get a free book once the building is open again and we can safely provide services.
