Connect & Create in December!
Connect with your library and community in December! Families can enjoy live Story Time on
Facebook every Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. and Thursday at 4:30 p.m. through December 17. You can get
in touch with our history on the Tigard Public Library YouTube channel with "A Library Grows in Tigard:
The First 50 Years of the Tigard Public Library." Looking for something fun to do on a cold night?
Download a Movie Trope Bingo card and take a fresh look at your favorite films.
If you're ready to take a break from screen time, pick up a craft for kids, teens, or adults during no-
contact Library Takeout hours, Monday through Saturday, noon to 5 p.m. Each kit has the supplies
you'll need to complete a craft and make memories.
Take & Make Bags

Kids & Teens
Stop by the library's no-contact Library Takeout service during open
hours and pick up a craft in a bag! When you arrive, park in a
numbered parking space and call the phone number on the sign.
New projects will appear every few weeks. Limit one craft per child
every two weeks.
Adult Crafting Series
DIY Snow Globes
fir Beginning December 1 1 Mondays-Saturdays
noon-5 p.m.
4 Make your very own wintery snow globe!We'll provide all the
M M MC necessary materials and instructions. Supplies are limited to 20
participants, and will be available on a first come, first served basis
through the no-contact Library Takeout service beginning
December 1.
DIY Winter Shadowboxes
Saturday, December 12 12 - 3:30 p.m.
Join us from the comfort of your own home to craft your very own
winter shadowbox. This craft is a small diorama with a winter scene
complete with pine trees, snow, and tiny wrapped presents.
Registration for this program is full, but you can visit the Library's
YouTube channel for a supplies list and recorded tutorial, posted by
December 12.
DIY Mini Macrame Pinch Pot Planters
Beginning December 151 Mondays-Saturdays I
noon-5 p.m.
Craft the perfect home for an air plant by creating your own tiny
pinch pot complete with a macrame hanger. Instructions, clay,

plant, and macrame cord provided. Supplies are limited to 30, and
will be available on a first come, first served basis through the no-
contact Library Takeout service beginning December 15.

Teen Wire Crafts

Make cool stuff like origami and 3-D snowflakes! Register by
