LIBRARY TAKEOUT �Xko.. i i "*V New Extended Hours & No Appointments Needed! Now Library Takeout is Even More Convenient! New Service Hours • Mondays-Saturdays • Noon-5pm The Tigard Public Library has increased our weekly service hours! Services are available Monday through Saturday from noon to 5pm. Parking lot traffic patterns have changed, so be sure to follow directional signs. During service hours, pick up your holds by parking in a designated spot and calling the Pick Up number posted. No appointment is needed. The noon hour is our busiest, so plan to visit later in the afternoon to lessen the chance of lines. If you are not arriving by car, or do not have a phone with you, come to the walk-up service desk. At the service desk, now located in the lobby doorway, we can answer your library questions, help with print jobs, browse the shelves to check out library items, and during the month of September, you can claim your summer reading prize book. For your convenience, the drive-up book drop is now open for library material returns at all hours. Stop by to visit, and get the library services you love! 1 of 5 September 2020 CLOSED FOR Tigard Public Library services will be closed Monday, September 7 for Labor Day. The walk-up service desk, drive-up book drop, and holds pick-up service will be available again on Tuesday, September 8. Summer Reading Prize Books Prize Books are Available for Pick Up SUMMER WNW�ALL A62 September 1-30 • Mondays-Saturdays • Noon-5pm We're ready to hand out prize books to kids, teens, and adults who completed our Summer Reading activities! Show us your activity flyer at the service desk during open hours in September, and take home your prize book. View your options for prize books for kids and teens or adults, then stop by our walk-up service desk to 4 collect your favorite. Take & Make Projects for All Ages • Take & Make Bags September 1-October 18 • Mondays-Saturdays • Noon-5pm Stop by the library's service desk during open hours and pick up a craft in a bag! From paper and nature crafts to cat toys or slime, there are fabulous things to make for people of all ages. Whether you want to connect with your community or explore the great outdoors, the library has something for you this month. Virtual story time on Facebook Live continues Tuesdays at 10:30 am and Thursdays at 2:30 pm. Storytime on Thursday, September 3 and Thursday, September 17 will be presented bilingually English and Spanish. Get in the mood to head back to school with School Days: An Early History of Schools in Tigard, 1853-1970, a video dive into the history of Tigard schools on September 14, and collaborate to understand and combat racism in our community with the Online Racial Justice Book Group.
