McDonald Street Mr. Gilbert R. Meigs, Stevens, Thompson & Runyan, Inc. Miss Cheryl Beshears, Tigard Times Miss Pat Tierney, Oregon Journal The meeting was called to order at 7:32 p.m. by Chairman Wheelwright. Motion was made and seconded to approve the minutes of the 'terâ–º last meeting, as written. Motion carried. Mrs. C. W. Rider appeared before the board to request permission to continue serving two houses on one meter at 13030 S. W. Bull Mountain Road. Motion was made by Clarence Nicoli to allow Mrs. Rider to continue serving both houses on one meter until such time as severs are installed and/or the tax lot is sub-divided. Don Thomas seconded the motion. Motion carried with John Schwartz abstaining and Gene Chamberlin voting nay. It was understood that any additional meter(s) installed after the terminal date of March 31, 1975 would be charged at the "going" rate at that time. Mr. Schulze also appeared before the board to request permission to continue serving two houses (rentals) on one meter at 12825 S. W. Grant Street. Motion was made and seconded not to require another meter installation at this time, but that the owner agree to negotiate a lien against the property to the effect that another meter would be installed when the property is sold or sub-divided. Any additional meter(s) installed after the terminal date of March 31, 1975 would be charged at the existing rate at that time. This option would apply to all of the 14 property owners who have two or more houses on one meter, except Mr. Rider whose conditions are noted above. Motion carried.
