02/10/1976 - Minutes 0 Tigard Water District 2-76 Regular Meeting February 10, 1976 PRESENT: Don W. Thomas, Chairman Clarence F. Nicoli, Treasurer R. Verne Wheelwright Robert E. Santee, Administrator John P. Miller, Foreman Kenneth W. Baines, Attorney Visitors: None The meeting was called to order at 7:34 p.m. by Chairman Thomas. Motion was made and seconded to approve the minutes of the 401.0 last meeting, as written. Motion carried unanimously. Motion was made and seconded to pay the vouchers. Motion carried unanimously. Motion was made by Commissioner Wheelwright and seconded by Commissioner Nicoli to approve the amended contract with Metzger Water District pertaining to water service to Rolling Hills Subdivision. Motion carried unanimously. Motion was made by Commissioner Wheelwright and seconded by Commissioner Nicoli to appoint Commissioner Chamberlin as the Budget Officer for the 1976-77 Fiscal Year. Motion carried unanimously. H. Dale Johnson, Neil Longfellow, and Michael O'Neil were approved as members of the Budget Committee. Remain- ing members will be selected at the next meeting. Suggested as members were Bill Stebbins, Jack Wied, Jim Simmons, or someone from King City. -1- Minutes (Continued) *1111, Motion was made by Commissioner Wheelwright and seconded by Commissioner Nicoli to approve the group dental insurance plan as proposed by Bankers Life Nebraska and the district to pay the cost of $4.32 per month for each employee. Employees will have the option to include their dependents at their cost via the payroll deduction. Motion carried unanimously. Motion was made by Commissioner Nicoli and seconded by Commissioner Wheelwright to approve a transfer of funds within the General Fund, as follows: From: Acct #700: Tr. to Bond Sinking Fund: $54.000 Tos Acct #549: Equipment: $14,000 Acct #550: Bldgs d Additions: 10,000 Acct #554: Line Extensions 12,000 Acct #555: Pipe Replacements 18,000 $ QOQ Motion carried unanimously. Commissioner Wheelwright thanked the Administrator and wow Foreman in creating an obvious improvement in relations with Metzger Water District. It was long overdue. Motion was made to adjourn at 10:15 p.m. Motion carried unanimously. -2- gr7:7 _ AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT Between METZGER WATER DISTRICT and TIGARD WATER DISTRICT Dated September 21, 1973 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * The legal description on page 1 of the captioned Contract is amended by deleting therefrom: "Rolling Hills, Washington County, Oregon, a service area bounded by Southwest Crestview Drive on the north, Southwest 72nd Avenue on the east, Cherry Street on the south, and the Tigard Water District boundary on the west; excepting therefrom the 12-inch transmission line located within Southwest 72nd Avenue, which the Tigard Water District will continue to use. " Pursuant to the first paragraph on page 3 of said Contract, Metzger Water District has paid to Tigard Water District the sum of Fifteen Thousand Six Hundred Forty-Four and 94/100 Dollars ($15,644 .94) , receipt of which in hereby acknowledged , and Tigard Water District grants, bargains , sells , and conveys to Metzger Water District all of its right, title, and interest in the capi- tal improvements financed by the Tigard Water District and in- stalled within this service area since September 21 , 1973 .
