Attorney Visitors: Miss Pot Tierney, Oregon Journal (departed at 7:49 p.m. ) The meeting was called to order at 7!79 p.m. by Chairman Thomas. Motion was made and seconded to approve the minutes of the last meeting, as written. Motion carried unanimously. Motion was made and seconded to pay the vouchers. Motion carried unanimously. Motion was made by Verne Wheelwright and seconded by Gene Chamberlin '` to request voter annrnval in May 1976 to issue General Obligation bonds to obtain funds to construct a 19-million gallon reservoir. Motion carried 3-1 with Clarence F. Nicoli voting nay. Motion was made and seconded to approve lowest acceptable bid for purchase of a 1976 9/4-ton pickup truck. Bids were received from Friendly Chevrolet and Knauss Chevrolet Companies. Friendly bid g9,919.6g and Knauss hid $4.874.78. Motion carried unanimously. Administrator was instructed to advertise for written bids in the Tigard Times for the sale of the 1993 Ford pickup truck. Motion was made and seconded to authorize and empower. the Chairman and Treasurer to borrow funds up to $9n,Gnn on a short-term basis. Motion carried unanimously. (Complete resolution attached). Administrator was advised to communicate with the Manager, Portland Bureau of Water Works, to determine the maximum liability that the district has incurred from Portland's system development charge as a result of purchasing Bull Run water. A response in writing from Portland was to be requested. Administrator was requested to present at the next meeting a summary of the surrounding district charges for meter connections.
