04/09/1974 - Minutes ww Tigard Water District 334th Regular Meeting April 9, 1974 PRESENT: Clarence F. Nicoli, Chairman Don W. Thomas, Secretary John M. Wied, Treasurer R. Verne Wheelwright Robert E. Santee, Administrator John P. Miller, Foreman VISITORS: None. The meeting was called to order at 7:34 p.m. by Chairman Nicoli. Motion was made to approve the minutes of the last meeting, as written. Motion carried unanimously. Motion was made to pay the vouchers. Motion carried unanimously. Motion was made to increase fire sprinkler rates from $5 to $10 per month for services 6-inch and below, and from $5 to $15 per month for services 8-inch and above, effective May 1, 1974. Motion carried unanimously. Motion was made to annex 58 acres including development called "Windsor Heights" consisting of 24 homes to be constructed near West Colony Park, south of Ball Mountain Road. Motion carried unanimously. Motion was made to approve indenture with Southern Pacific Trans- portation Company for easement to install water main under railroad tracks at S. W. 98th and Tigard Street. (Complete motion on next page). Motion carried unanimously. Motion was made to transfer within the General Fund $6,000 from Capital Projects Reserve Account (#701) to Water Costs Account (#525-2). Motion carried unanimously. Motion was made to hold a public hearing on a proposed supplemental budget at 7:30 p.m., May 14, 1974. (Proposed supplemental budget attached). Motion carried unanimously. Nicoli Chairman Notice of Supplemental Budget Hearin, A public hearing on a proposed supplemental budget for the Tigard Water District for the fiscal year 1973-74 will be held in the district office, 8841 S. W. Commercial Street, Tigard, Oregon at 7:30 p.m. on May 14, 1974. Copies of the supplemental budget are available without charge at the office of the district. The budget may be inspected by interested persons at the district office during regular office hours. Any person may appear at the public hearing on the supplemental budget, and discuss the budget or any part of it.
