11/28/1972 - Minutes Tigard Water District 317th Regular Meeting November 28, 1972 (Rescheduled from Nov. 14, 1972) PRESENT: R. Verne Wheelwright, Acting Chairman Clarence F. Nicoli, Treasurer Lester L. Rawls, Secretary Robert E. Santee, Administrator John P. Miller, Foreman The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Chairman Wheel- wright who was selected by the board as the Acting Chairman because Chairman Wied was absent. Motion was made to approve the minutes of the last meeting, as written. Motion carried. Visitors: None. Motion was made to pay the vouchers. Motion carried. fti,,. Motion was made to approve the revised audit contract with Savage & Company for period July 1, 1972 to June 30, 1973. Motion carried. Motion was made to adopt updated rules, rates, and regulations. Motion carried. Motion was made to authorize $51.18 per month to George Beaudry while he is incapacitated to continue premium payments on his retire- ment program ($24.51) and Blue Cross coverage for his family. ($26.67). Motion carried. Motion was made to approve rebate agreement with School District #23J as amended by Ken Baines. Motion carried. Motion was made to award contract to the apparent low bidder, Arndt-Colt Construction Company, to install approximately 4800 feet of 16-inch and 250 feet of 24-inch pipe from Interstate 5 to Waluga Reservoir, all of which is located in Clackamas County. (Phase III and IV, Lake Oswego). Motion carried. Motion was made to purchase an addresser-printer from Pitney Bowes at a cost of $1018. The old manual printer was to be sold to City of Tualatin for $50. Motion carried. Motion was made to increase monthly wage of Annie Jasperson from low $425 to $450, effective December 1, 1972.
