The meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m. by Chairman Nicoli.
Motion was made to approve minutes of last meeting, as written.
Motion carried.
Visitors: Joseph Schafer, Tigard Times
Ernest Platt, Commonwealth, Inc.
Motion was made to pay the vouchers. Motion carried.
In response to requests for bids on the new pump station for the
Lake Oswego connection, only one quotation was received, Cornell Manu-
facturing Company. Specifications had also been sent to Hydronics
"` Company and Mitchell, Lewis, and Stayer. The total bid price was
$62,407 which included the pump station ($44,849), suction and dis-
charge manifolding ($4,480), and telemetry ($13,078). Motion was
made to accept the bid. Motion carried.
Motion was made to approve an increase of $55 for all new meter
installations, exclusive of the Bull Mountain system, effective July 1,
1973. Motion carried.
Motion was made to declare George Beaudry physically disabled from
future employment with the district, and that portion of his retirement
fund contributed by the district be retained with Northwestern National
Life Insurance Company for his future retirement. Motion carried.
Verne Wheelwright was appointed Budget Officer for FY1973-74.
In addition to the four present budget committee members (Harold A.
Myers, John S. Martin, Glen P. Sorum, M.G. Jenovich), Neil Longfellow
was appointed to a 3 year term. Carl Winans was appointed as an alter-
nate.
Motion was made to approve participation in cost of 24-inch main
from Portland city limits to Bradley Corners, 1/3 of remaining con-
struction costs or approximately $30,000, effective upon execution of
an agreeable contract between the Tigard Water District and the City
of Portland. Motion carried.

Ken Baines was instructed to renegotiate theontract with the
City of Portland to purchase surplus water at Bradley Corners. Specific
paragraphs for revision included no meter charge until water initially
used, termination clause, and miscellaneous data to report on Tigard
Water District system.
Motion was made to adjourn at 9:10 p.m. Motion carried.
