5:00 p.m. , December 6, 1971, pursuant to appropriate resolution, meet, count, and
canvass the vote at the annual election for the Tigard Water District; and each

We do hereby certify that we opened the polls at 2:00 p.m. on
Monday, December 6, 1971, and kept the polls open until 8:00 p.m.
Each qualified voter who presented himself for the purpose of voting
at the polling place was furnished with a Ballot, a copy of which is
attached to this Certification and by reference made a part hereof,
and was permitted to cast his vote for the election of a Commissioner.
Upon closing the polls, we counted the Ballots cast at the elect—
ion; and the results are as follows:

At no time while said polls were open were more than one of the
Clerks of Election out of the presence of the others. The ballot box,
poll books, ballot stubs, and tally sheets were constantly kept to—
gether in the presence and view of all the Clerks from the opening of
the polls until the count was completed and returned, signed, and sealed.
After the count was begun, it was continued until fully completed, without
any adjournment, and in the presence of all of the Clerks. No one was
permitted to vote who has not resided within the Tigard Water District for
at least thirty (30) days preceding the election; and the election was
conducted and completed in accordance with law.
We certify that the foregoing is a true and accurate canvass of the
results of this election.
