Bartholew, Geologist The meeting was called to order at 7:40 p.m. by Chairman Wied. Now The motion was made to approve the minutes of the last meeting, as written. Motion carried. W. 113th Ave. , Tigard The motion was made to authorize a temporary service connection via the King City Mobile Villas to Mr. and Mrs. James E. Dooley providing they agree to pay their fair share of a main installation across one side of their property if and when such main is installed. Motion carried. The motion was made to adopt the FY1972-73 budget, levying taxes, and appropriating expenditures as approved by the budget committee. (See attached resolution for full motion). Motion carried. The motion was made to pay the vouchers. Motion carried. The Administrator was instructed to make the necessary corrections to the proposed rules, rates, and regulations and resubmit at the next meeting. —1— Minutes (Continued) The motion was made to deny the request for waiving the district overhead and engineering fees for a water main extension on S. W. Bonita Road, near 74th Avenue, for Puget Western Die Casting Co. Motion carried. The Administrator was instructed to expedite the purchase of land for a terminal reservoir near 125th and Gaarde Street. No agree- ment or offer on price has been established as yet. Mr. Robert R. Ames has indicated that he will arrive at a selling price by the next meeting, July 11th. The total acreage required is 2.87 or a lot 500' x 250'. The motion was made to authorize a consulting geologist to conduct a study to determine if additional underground water is available for deep wells at a total cost of about $300. Motion carried. Mr. Wm. S. Bartholew, geologist from the Oregon State Engineer's office in Salem, made a presentation on the ground water conditions in the Bull Mountain - Cooper Mountain area. Akw A discussion was held on whether the district should participate in the main extension to Bradley corners with Winmar, Metzger and Progress Water Districts.
