12/14/1954 - Minutes One Hundred and Twenty Fourth Regular Meeting Tigard. Water District Tigard, Oregon December 14, 1954 Present:- C. E. Janos, President, C.L.Osborne, H.J.Heffron D. W. Proebstel and Leonard Nodland Commissioners. J.P.Lohrenz Supt . The minutes of the previous minutes were read and approved. H.J.Heffron moved and C.L.Osborne seconded that $2764.11 be with drawn from the savings account and deposited to the general fund to make the payment due on the bonds. The motion carried. C.L.Osborne moved and D.W.Proebstel seconded that the clerk purchase a card index file at a cost not exceedin,*10.00. The motion carried. The Board decided to refer each insurance policy to Art Vincent Co. as they come due. C.L.Osborne moved and D.W.Proebstel seconded that the tools and equipment be reappraised in connection with the fire insurance, and that the check to Stevens and Brewster in the amount of $124.00 be held up, until it is determined if the policy is to be transfered to Art Vincent Company. The motion carried. H.J.Heffron moved and D.W.Proebstel seconded that the Supt. J.P.Lohrenz could keep the small walnut crop for himself, but the money received from the sale of the filberts is to deposited to the general fund. The motion carried. C.L.Osborne moved and D.W. Proebstel seconded that the bills be paid as listed with the exception of the check to Stevens and Brewater for $ 124.00 which was held up. The motion carried. C.L.Osborne moved and Leonard Nodland seconded that a letter of appology be sent to the customers out side of the district, to whom notices of election were sent in error. The motion carried. D.W.Proebster moved and Leonard Nodland seconded that the meeting adjourn.
