Nowp therefore, Be It Resolved: that The United States National Bank of
Portland, (Oregon), Trust Department, is hereby employed to act as the
paying agent of this body and the * Treasurer, with Chairman
of this body is hereby authorized, from funds in the treasury of this
corporation, seasonably in advance of the due date of the coupons and
bonds payable at the times above set forth, to remit by check to said
The United States National Bank of Portland, (Oregon), Trust Department,
the full amount necessary to pay coupons and/or principal of bonds next
maturing, or in the discretion of said disbursing officer, an order
directing The United States National Bank of Portland, (Oregon), to
charge the account of this body in said Bank with said amount, together
with, in either case, the additional sum of of 1% of the face value
of the said coupons and 1/10 of 1% of the face value of the said bonds
as and for the compensation of said Bank for performing such service.
The minimum annual fee for handling the agency account shall be $50.00.
Said Bank is thereupon authorized to pay out the money so placed with
it in payment of the coupons next maturing, as the same shall be pre-
sented upon their due dates, and likewise to pay any of the principal
of the above listed bonds, when called or due and presented.
Be It Further Resolved, that coupons and/or bonds so paid by said Bank
voisi shall be cancelled by it, listed and shipped to the District's represent-
ative, its Treasurer , who is hereby authorized
to receipt therefor to said Bank.
Be It Further Resolved, that any coupons and/or bonds not in order for
payment for any reason, must be returned by said representative to said
Bank within two days of receipt of the same by him from it.
Be It Further Resolved, that the Bank will not be held responsible for
any bond or coupon paid by it in the ordinary course of business, but
will be held responsible only for its own negligence or misconduct. Said
Bank, however, is hereby released from any and all liability to this body
for moneys paid out by it for any or all of said coupons and/or bonds not
returned within said two days after receipt by said representative.

WATER DISTRICT MADE AT THE REGULAR MEETING OF SUCH COMMISSIONERS HELD AT
THE TIGARD GRADE SCHOOL, WEDENSDAY, OCTOBER 12, 1949, A SPECIAL ELECTION
WAS DIRECTED FOR THE PURPOSE OF OBTAINING THE AUTHORIZATION OF THE
ELECTORS OF THIS DISTRICT FOR IT TO ISSUE AND SELL $21,000.00 IN GENERAL
OBLIGATION BONDS, THE PROCEEDS OF WHICH SHALL BE USED FOR THE PURPOSE
OF IMPROVING AND EXTENDING THE WATER SYSTEM OF THE TIGARD WATER DISTRICT.
THE DATE OF THE SPECIAL ELECTION WILL BE OCTOBER 21k, 1949.
THE POLLING PLACE WILL BE THE TIGARD GRADE SCHOOL.
THE POLLING PLACE WILL BE OPEN ON OCTOBER 24, 1949, BETWEEN
