The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Commissioners of Tigard
Water District, Washington County, Oregon, was held at the Old Auditorium,f tzt/Ic2 0',
Tigard, at 7:30 P.M., October 27, 1933.
Present: Chairman Johnson, and Commissioners Leslie, Vincent, and
Lewis .
Minutes of meeting of September 22, 1938, approved.
State Industrial Accident Commission: Workmen's Compensation Statute.

TAX LEVY FOR YEAR 1939:
SAS, we, the Board of Commissioners of Tigard Water District, Washington
County, Oregon, heretofore duly appointed a tax budget committee, which committee
prepared and certified the above tax budget, and we, after due notice given, held
a public meeting for the discussion thereof, as by law required, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the above tax budget for the year 1939 is hereby adopt-
ed, and, based thereon, this Board hereby levies a tax upon all property taxable
for District purposes, for the year 1939, of fourteen hundred fifty dollars for
debt purposes and eight hundred fifty dollars for general purposes, a total of
twenty-three hundred dollars, to be levied, assessed and collected upon the tax
roll of said county for the year 1939. And the Secretary is hereby directed, to
furnish a true copy hereof to the County Clerk and the County Assessor, and to do
all things necessary to carry out the purpose hereof.

TIGARD WATER COMPANY, a corporation of Tigard, Washington County, Oregon,
in consideration of Three Thousand Five Hundred Dollars (0,500.00) in cash,
to it in hand paid by TIGARD WATER DISTRICT, a municipal corporation of Wash-
ington County, Oregon, hereby sells, assigns, and sets over unto TIGARD WATER
DISTRICT, the following property;

All of its mains, laterals, services, master meter, equipment, materials

on hand, tools, and all other things now used as a part of the
� present water
distributing plant of said TIGARD WATER COMPANY. All easements, contracts and
rights in connection therewith now used in the operation of said system.
All of which is free from tax, incumbrance, or debt of any nature.
TIGARD WATER DISTRICT to transfer present users from the COMPANY lines
to the proposed DISTRICT lines without cost to such users, as to such trans-
fer, charge being made only for repairs or replacements found necessary.
This bill is herewith dated as of October 1, 1938, and all water or serv-

ice earnings for service prior to October 1, 1938, shall remain the property
of said COMPANY, with the privilege of coallecting same during the month of
October, 1938, and not thereafter. All charges and services from and after
October 1, 1938 shall accrue to the TIGARD WATER DISTRICT, including unpaid
installments arising prior to said date on service installations. The COMTANY's
treasury balance, stock, and other assets, except as above named, are not a
part of this transaction.
