Regular Meeting, December 15, 1938:
The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Co,missicner•s of Tigard dater District, -
aashington County, Oregon, was hell at the office of J. S. Baxter, Superintendent, at .400
7:30 idv, December 15, 1038.
Present: Johnson, Leslie, Vincent.
Minutes of meeting of November 17, 1038, approved.
Report of Superintendent for November received and filed.
Lease of crossing under SP tracks received, approved and filed.
BOnd of J. S. Barber, Superintendent, :0_000.00, American Surety Company,
October 24, 1938/1939, premium 0.00. Approved and filed.
Election Canvass Ordered, that it is hereby found and declared: that the regular
annual election for commissioner was duly called and held on December 5, 1938; that
the returns thereof were duly made to and canvassed by this Board; that the total vote
cast thereat for the office of commissioner for each candidate was respectively as
follows: Phil E. Lewis, 28 votes; 4m. Allingham, 23 votes; that Phil E. Lewid
received the highest number of vates cast for the office of commissioner, and that he
is duly elected thereto.
Ordered, that the secretary issue a certific<:te of election in accordance with
this finding. Carried.
