Tigard Water District
December 8, 1948
" Present: Chairman Cook, Board Members Selliken, Osborne, Barber,
Attorney Wheelock, Supt. Dickson, Mrs. Hall.
Meeting was called to order by Chairman Cook and minittes of meeting
of November 10th were accepted as read.
Moved by Selliken, seconded by Barber that account and collectorls report,
meter installation report, and delinquent report be accepted as reported
and placed on file - motion carried.
Moved by Osborne, seconded by Selliken, motion carried that sufficient
funds in the amount of $1670.00 be transferred from savings account to
the general checking account to cover bond and interest due.
Moved by Osborne, seconded by Barber, that bills be paid as listed - motion

Mr. Dickson reported on meeting of Superintendents at Hillsboro,
and talks given at the meetings,etc. He also reported that he had
called twice for a report on the water sample but had not been able
to secure any further information.
Mr. Wheelock reported an letter from the Portland Gas & Coke Co.,
charging us with $5.08. This company advises they are canceling
.. the charge.
Motion made by Barber, seconded by Selliken, carried, that ladies
serving on the Water election board be paid $6.50 each, for their
services.
Matter of certification of election brought to the attention of the
Board. Mr. Barber would not sign and advised he expected to protest
the election and had 30 days in which to do so. Mr. Osborne advised
that if Mr. Barber did not have any concrete information by December
15th which would indicate the election was not in order, he would sign
at that time. No further action taken on this matter at the meeting.
Moved, seconded, carried that meeting be adjourned at 9:15 p.m.
