SPECIAL METING
July 1949
Present: Chairman dook, Board Members Bepls, Boennighpusen, Sellilsen,
Lobrenz, Supt. Dickson, Engineers MPC Intyre Pnd Rosebraugh
and Mrs. Nelson.
Members of the board waived formal notice of the snecipl meeting
which teas held at Chnirmpn Cooks home.
The meeting was opened with n discussion of the present well, the
pmount of water being numbed etc. Mr. Dickson rP1TS P report stating
when at. 453 feet*wPter level was 190. The day before P 250 foot
pipe had been rut to fest pnd numbed 300 gallons with n 35 foot
drpwlown. That dpy 50 feet more mire hnd been dled making 300
feet in all. It then bumped 40n gallons with an 87 foot drnwlown.
It pumped for 2 hours pt .thPt rte. Then back to 325 feet and
gained 15 feet in well. It is thoughtrIpt nother 190 feet might
get 600 gnllons.
Mr. Cook stPted that Mr. Strpsser was in the hosnitn1 Pt the time--
but would call 1ptier in the evening.
Mr. MPC Intyre, Engineer, rend "PronosP1 and Snecificntions for
W?ter Lines. " He gave suggestions as to letting of bids and
also gave suggestions as to placing of hydrPnts. Discussions
and recommendations were given Ps to size of pipe to be used and
Ps to which districts were in the gretest need of larger pipes.
A motion was male for engineers to correct mnd complete sa,ecificntions.
