11/21/1949 - Minutes MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COMMISSIONERS OF TIGARD WATER `""" DISTRICT A special meeting of the Commissioners of the Tigard Water District was held at 8:00 o'clock P. M. November 21, 1949, at the home of Harold L. Cook, in Tigard, Multnomah County, Oregon. There were present all of the Commissioners of the Tigard Water Dis- trict. Mr. Cook related to the assembled Commissioners that the bid of Charles N. Tripp Co. and Fordyce & Co. was duly received and opened November 19, 1949. That by the said bid Charles N. Tripp Co. and Fordyce & Co. offer- ed to pay this District $100.33 for each $100.00 par value of the authorized issue of $20,000.00 General Obligation Bonds, said bonds to draw interest at 2-3/4% per annum. Charles N. Tripp Co. and Fordyce & Co. deposited with said bid the sum of $750.00 in the form of a certified check drawn on the First National Bank of Portland (Oregon), payable to Tigard Water District.mow Upon motion, duly made and seconded, Tigard Water District accepted the above bid of Charles N. Tripp Co. and Fordyce & Co. and directed that not- ice of acceptance be forthwith given to Charles N. Tripp Co. and Fordyce & Co. Motion was then duly made, seconded and passed that C. E. Wheelock, Attorney for the District, present to Mr. John W. Shuler all of the necessary documents and resolutions relative to the authorization, sale and issuance of the bonds to Charles N. Tripp Co. and Fordyce Sc Co., and request of John W. Shuler his opinion as to the legality of said bonds, their issuance and sale. There being no further business, the meeting r-,• ly adjourned. 'a
