Seventy sixth Regular Meeting .. Tigard Water District December 13, 1950 Present :- H. L. Cook, President. A. Boenninghausen, C. F. Selliken, 0. D. Brown, and M. D. Lewis, Board Members. J. P. Lohrenz Supt. C. E. Wheelock, Attorneyv/ Newly elected board members C. L. Osborn, Raymond Meyers, and Darwin Shinn. Also present were Jack Simpson, J. W. Van Dermark and C. Fraud.. The meeting was opened in regular order by the President H.L.Cook. • The minutes of the previous meeting were read. A Boenninghausen moved and M.D. Lewis seconded that the minutes be approved as read. The motion carried. The President H.L.Cook explained the reports to the new Board Members. The President H.L.Cook stated that the Rushlight Automatic Sprinkler Company of Portland Oregon, were authorized to connect the Bull Mountain pipe lineto the tank at well number two. This was not called for in the contract. `"' A motion was made by O.D.Brown and seconded by C.F. Selliken, that the Rushlight Automatic Sprinkler Company's bill of $9750.42 be paid. The motion harried. After a brief discussion of various items of the Liability and Property Damage Insurance Policy of Stevens and Brester, A Boenninghausen moved and M.D. Lewis seconded that the insurance be given to Stevens and Brewster. The motion carried. This policy is to pick up the automible insurance at the expiration of the present policy. The premium of the above insurance is to be $159.40. The President H.L.Cook presented four easements, of the Bull Mountain extension, the names contained therein to be recorded in the minutes, and then to be turned over to the attorney C. E. Wheelock to be recorded in the County Records. They were given to the attorney December ;3 , 1950. Franchise for Tigard Water District to lay a four inch main on a County R©ad., in Washington County. H.D.Kulsman Judge, Jas Lewis, H. R. Johnson, Commissioners. Easement for constructing a four inch pipe line across property. Now Easement M. McCreight and Dorthy Virgil McCreight. Easement for constructing a four inch pipe line across property. Oliver Kenneth Mowart and Amy S. Mowart. Easement to place a Water storage tank and pipe line on property. Beatrice Zednick. The bill of J.W. Van Dermark in the amount of 4527.44 was discussed. It was decided by the Board to subtract from the bell the material cost of $247.26 and the freight charge of $7.40 and that the Tigard Water District pay these bills. From the balance of $272.78 the Board decided to hold back $100.00 until the job is completed, and pay $172.7$. A Boenninghausen moved and M.D.Lewis seconded that the Tigard Water District pay the material cost $247.26 the freight cost $7.40,and $172.7$ to Mr. J. W. Van Dermark. The motion carried. The amount collected from Evans and Vincent for this project was $500.00. There is still to be paid $27.44. A motion was made by A. Boenninghausen and seconded by C. F. Selliken that sufficient money be with drawn from the Savings Accouid and deposited to the General Fund, to pay the principal of the bond that is due , and the interest on both issues of bonds. The Superintendent Mr. J. P. Lohrenz reported the rate structure of several near by towns. This was requested so that the possibility of establishing a commert±al rate could be made. The rates are as follows:-Beaverton, $2.00 first 500 cu. ft. 30 cents per 100 cu. ft. up to 1000 cu. ft. There after 25 cents per 100 cu. ft. Forest Grove. $1.75 for 3000 gallon. over 3000 gallon 10 cents per 1000 gallon up to 20,000 gallon. Mc '1VIinnville: $1.50 up to 500 cu. ft. lOcents per 100 Cu, ft. up to 2500 cu. ft. Hillsboro: $2.00 first 400 cu. ft. next 600 cu. ft. 15 cents per 100 cu. ft. Over 1000 cu. ft. 10 cents per 100 cu. ft. Oregon City:$l.25 for 600 cu. ft. 8 cents per 100 cu. ft. for the next 2000 cu. ft. Next 2600 cu. ft. 6 cents per 100 cu. ft. A. Boenninghausen moved and M.D. Lewis seconded that the matter of rates be tabled for future consideration. The motion passed. A motion was made byu0. D. Brown and seconded by C. F.
