One Hundreth and Tenth Regular Meeting
Tigard Water District
October 14, 1953
Present:- D.W.Proebstel, President, C .L.Osborne, C.E.Janoe, H.J.
Heffron Commissioners, J.P.Lohrenz, Supt. , C .E.Wheelock Atty.
Charles Stearns and Fred Dobinski, visitors.
The meeting was opened in the regular manner by the President.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Charles Stearns presented his complaint about the delinquent water
bill on his garage meter account W 121, which has been appearing on
his statement each month. The Board gave instructions that the
delinquent amount be left off his bill, and that C .E.Wheelock is to
write a letter to John Lenz requesting that the delinquent amount
of $10.03 be paid by him at once.
D.W.Proebstel read the letter from R.W.Laws in whch eh stated that
he would not have the time to audit the District's books. H.J.
Heffron moved,C .E.Janoe seconder, that the firm of Masters & Biggs
of Beaverton be contacted, to have them audit the books. The
motion carried.
C.L.Osborne was requested to see the Engineer Maclntyre about
another reservoir, or a pie line connecting the two tanks, Well #1,
and gell
Mr. Fred Dobinski who lives south of Tigard on High Way 99, in-
quired about a new main in that direction. The Supt. is to find
out the lenght and the cost of a six inch main.
C.L.Osborne moved, C .E.Janoe seconder, that the bills be paid as
listed. The motion carried.
As there was no other business it was moved and seconded that the
meeting adjourn. The motion carried.
