Minutes of August 9, 2004 meeting
Members present: Mr. Tinnin, Mr. Cancelosi, Mr. Haack, Mr. Callan

1. Meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M.
2. Minutes from June meeting approved.
3. City updates:
a. Volunteer tree planting on Saturday, July 24, 2004. Event was held
at Bonita Park where 300 native trees and shrubs were planted.
b. New library updates.
c. City Council meeting in September.
d. Fanno Creek Park- possible wetland mitigation site for Tri-Met as a
result of commuter rail project.
e. Community Planning Department updates.
f. Bonita Park enhancement update.
4. Heritage Tree Program discussion. Board members approved. Under
review with city staff.
5. Chapter 18 of Tigard Municipal Code discussion.
a. Planning Commission updates- Bill Haack
b. Invite Dick Bewersdorff to September's meeting.
c. Board members to review 18.790 and 18.745 to consider changes,
improvements, etc.
6. Downtown Tigard improvements discussion
7. Set agenda for next meeting to be held September 21, 2004:
a. Minutes
b. City updates- Matt Stine
c. Chapter 18 discussion
8. Meeting adjourned 8:05 P.M.
