Unfortunately, we cannot delay payment to occupancy as we have an agreement with Clean Water Services (CWS)to collect their sanitary sewer SDCs prior to issuance of plumbing permits as a safeguard to insure that the sewer SDC is paid. Each plumbing fixture has a point value as set by CWS per the attached sewer tally sheet. We do not have the ability to reduce these values based on 'usage', however you are welcome to contact CWS at 503-681-3600 for more information. If you reduce the number of fixtures after the current fees are paid and plumbing permit is issued,you will need to submit revised plans for plan review and we can adjust the plumbing permit and sewer permit fees. Hi Brandon, We were able to get the calculation details from our GC's contractor for the sewer connection fee. We believe that the actual usage will be much less and so would like to explore the possibility of reducing the EDUs based on usage. I will let Tara, our architect chime in on that. 1 Meanwhile, I was wondering if there is a possibility to delay the payment to occupancy while we explore the possibility of reducing the EDUs so that the plumbing permit can be released.
