Hello Kimberly,
This permit is ready to issue and the balance due is$459.10 (see attached invoice).
The fees can be paid online at https://aca-prod.accela.com/TIGARD/Welcome.aspx by searching for the permit record
number BUP2021-00123 under the Building tab. Payment can be made by'card' for a 3%service fee or select the
'check' payment option and there is no service fee.
Please email the permit technicians at TiRardBuildingPermits@tigard-or.gov once the fees are paid so that we can
issue the permit and make the site copy available for pick up.
Please be aware of the following inspection process for demolition permits:
• NO demolition work can commence until erosion control and tree protection (if applicable) are in place, the
demolition permit has been issued and the 750 Initial erosion control inspection has received a PASS.
• AFTER the demolition permit is issued, schedule inspections online at http://inspections.tigard-
or.gov/WebOnlinelnspections in the following order:
o 750 Initial erosion control
o 798 Final erosion control (must PASS 750 before 798 can be scheduled).
o 299 Final inspection (must PASS 798 before 299 can be scheduled).
• ALL inspections must pass and permit must be 'CLOSED' before demo credits for SDCs can be applied towards
new construction.

This demo permit is waiting to be issued, pending the CWS SPL from Kim (copied on this e-mail).The tree removal
permit is not required because the trees being removed are not native (for some reason,Accela won't let me go in and
update the notes right now).The permit is in the approved/not released area in the file room.

Hi Lina,
We do have to wait for the CWS letter. On accela it also says the demo permit needs the tree removal permit. We were
under the impression that the trees being removed were not native so a permit for that was not needed. Can you verify
that we do not need it?

Yes typically the CWS service provider letter(SPL) is required before we can issue the demo permit. But you're welcome
to contact them to double-check: https://www.cleanwaterservices.org/permits-development/step-by-step-
process/environmental-review/
If CWS says it's okay to issue the demo permit before the SPL is ready, please send us written confirmation from them
(such as an e-mail).

We received your permits for demo of the existing structures and also to build a new house. Before we can issue your
permits here is what we need:
For the demo (we just need to these prior to issuance of permit, this will not hold up review):
- Service Provider Letter from CWS (choose first option): https://www.cleanwaterservices.org/permits-
development/step-by-step-process/environmental-review/
- The tree proposed for removal near the northwest corner of the proposed house. What species is the tree? If
the tree is on the native list(see attached), a tree removal permit is required. Here is a link to the tree removal
permit application.
For the new house permit:
- Revised site plan showing:
o Remove the existing structures proposed for removal;
o All utilities showing how they are connect to the house;

o Stormwater facility(LIDA) is required when disturbance is more than 1,000 SF. Please contact Trent
Brickey about this requirement.

Hello Kim,
I am reviewing the demolition permit and I see that the new dwelling permit was applied for using the address of the
dwelling to be demolished. When a dwelling is demolished, we require that a new address be applied for as the old
address with the old dwelling data is removed from the county tax assessor's records.
Please complete the attached address application and follow the instructions for submitting for a new address. We will
charge the$50.00 address fee on the new dwelling permit and collect when the permit is ready to issue.
