Present, C.L.Osborne, President, Leonard Nodland, C.E.Janoe, Sam
Graham, Commissioners, J.P.Lohrenz Supt . and C.E.Wheelock, Atty.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Leonard Nodland moved and Sam Graham seconded, that H.H.Foskett
have and non-inclusive right and option to acquire five water rights
to the Bull Mountain Water System at a price of 4500.00 each. Such
option to expire January 3, 1956. Also that the 4250 .00 option
money deposited by H.H.Foskett be accepted and applied toward the
payment of the purchase of such rights by H.H.Foskett at the time
that such option be exercised. The motion carried.
C.E.Janoe moved, and Sam Graham seconded that the Secretary write
a letter to H.H.Foskett stating that under the present situations
and conditions, the Board does notfeel that it can spend money
on his well for tests and investigations, to determine if the well
would meet our conditions. The motion carried.
C.E.Janoe moved and Sam Graham seconded that the $160.00, the out
side of the District meter hook up charge be refunded to F.C.
Gunther. Mr. Gunther had the meter installed while his property
was in the process of annexation. The territory was annexed. The
Board established a precedent, that here after if a party out side
of the District hooks on to the lines during the process of an-
nexation, that the out side of the district hook up charge be re-
funded, x3ilrttimmxgyd. if the district is annexed. The
motion carried.
A motion was made by Leonard Nodland and seconded by C.E.Janoe
that the property on Walnut Avenue as described by the annexation
petition be accepted. Whereas, all of the owners of the above
described property have petitioned for the annexation thereof in
conformity with Section 264. 505 O.R.S. by the Tigard Water Dist-
--- rict:and
WHEREAS, it is advantageous that sa'd property be annexed by the
Tigard Water District and become a part thereof,
BE IT RESOLVED: That the petition be and the same herewith and
hereby approved by the Board of Commissioners of the Tigard Water
District; and
BE IT RESOLVED: That the Tigard Water District pray and request
the County Court of the State of Oregon for the County of Wash-
ington to enter its order incorporating the hereinabove described
real property as a part of the Tigard Water District: and
BE IT RESOLVED: That this resolution be affixed to and become a
part of the above described petition and that this resoultion as
approved said annexation be acknowledged by this District over
the signature of its President.
Also resolved that the President be authorized to sign above
petition. The motion carried.

Minutes of November Meetings 1955
A motion was made by C.E.Janoe and seconded by Sam Graham , that
when a four inch or larger main is installed, that the installation
shall include the necessary fire hydrants. Also the parties pay-
ing for the pipe line are to pay for the hydrants. The motion
Carried.
A motion was made by C.E.Janoe, and seconded by Leonard Nodland,
that December 5, 1955, be designated as general election day of
the Tigard Water District. The election is tp be held in the Town
Hall, Tigard Oregon from $ Ogclo`k A.M. to $'Oclock P.M. and
futher resolved that notices of election be posted by the-Super-
intendent in three popular places on by November 21, 1955, and
futher retolved, tht official and sample ballots be printed ,
also that three lady clerks and an alternate be hired, Also
that five nomination petitions for the five year term and for the
two year term be made, and twenty five names of legal voters re-
siding in the District including their addresses be secured, and
Futher Resolved: that the nomination- petitions be submitted to the
President and Secretary of the Board, as recipients of petitions'
""""" to make sure that the signers of the petitions are true electors,
also on December 5, 1955 at $ o'clock P.M. that three members of
the Board be present at the election place to count the ballots
as- provided by law. The motion carried.
A motion was made by C.E.Janoe and seconded by Sam Graham, that
the Water Boardwill go on record. to extend time as stated on the
fire house contract for its completion to June 30, 1956. The
motion carried.

Sam Graham moved and, C.E.Janoe seconded that the bills be paid as
listed. The motion carried.
C.E.Janoe moved and Sam Graham seconded that the meeting adjourn.
