Cook, on Wednesday evening, Septeswber 28, 1949, at the hour of 7,50 p.m. The mooting was Galled for the purpose* of ooneiderisg bids on a pump to be installed in the recently drilled well on null Xbuatain, and to award a oontravt of purchase for such pump. Presents Chairman Cook, and Commissioners Se1lilceu, Beals, Boenr_ighauseu and Lohman. Ueoh of the Commissioner* present waived the required throe days written notice of tho meeting, since this mooting had been Galled and the time there.. for had 'Jean set at the reeulsr meeting of the Board of Commissioner* held September 14, 1949. M. Wades t Corapeny, for a Peerless 9-st*o 10 :.A deep \/ well turbine pump, 4480.00 From Byron Jackson Company, for an 11-stage submersible Byron Jaokson puma, 4412.00 Upon duo deliberation, it was discovered that the submerged motor and pomp bowls on theā€¢ Byron Jackson submersible punt end the pump bowls on the Pomona 10 inch pump were of such disaster that either of these pumps mad offww4vely plug the well at the point where the bowls were suspended. For this reason, no further consideration was given to the Byron Jackson pump or to the Pomona 10 inch pia. tipon further consideration, it appearing that of the remaining bids the bid of R. M. rade & Company of *4488,40 for a 9-stage 10 Peerless deep well turbine pump was the low bid, it was moved by Commissioner Beennighaysen and seconded by Commissioner Beale that the Board negotiate with R. M. Wade 4 Compeer for the purchase of the Peerless deep well twine pump ea the basis of their bid dated September 26, 1949. The motion was carried.
