Tigard Water District
May 10, 1950.
Present: President Harold L. Cook, A. 3oenninghausen, C. F. Selliken, J.H. Lohrenz,
Attorney Wheelock and Clara Leslie.
Minutes of last meeting read. A. Boenninghausen moved they be accepted as read -
seconded by C. F. Selliken.
Account and Collector's Report and delinquent report were read and discussed.
C. F. Selliken moved they be accepted - seconded by A. Boenninghausen.
Correspondence was read and ordered placed on file.
The resignation of Warren Beals as Commissioner and Treasurer was read. A. Boenninghausen
moved the resignation be accepted and was seconded by C. F. Selliken.
The election of anew Commissioner was in order. A. Boenninghausen nominated Oscar D.
Brown. This nomination was seconded by C. F. Selliken and Mr. Brown was duly elected.
took the oath of office and was installed as Commissioner.
Next in order was the Election of A. Treasurer. C. F. Selliken nominated A. Boenning-
hausen and he was declared the new Treasurer. The Assistant Secretary was instructed
to notify Bates, Lively & Pearson and the County Treasuser of this change in officers.

The Superintendent 's Report was read and discussed. A pipe was broken near the
Drug Store and a break in main in front of C. Scoffins place. There was some dis-
cussion as to the advisiability of getting a main and leak dectector. It was
decided to borrow one and try out before buying.
A leak was reported at D. W. Wight 's place and due tr illness in his family the Board
decided to charge him the minimum. Moved by A. Boenninghausen and Seconded by C. F.
Selliken. The Superintendent asked for gravel on road to Well #2. It was decided to
purchase sufficient gravel to make the road passable for the truck. There was a
little discussion on Fire hydrants and the Superintendent was instructed to get prices.
Jack Simpson and others from the Bull Mountain District again discussed the possibility
of laying main and having a Booster pump for this district.
Mr. Chandler of the Packing Plant discussed the possibility of getting water from the
Tigard Water District. A. Boenninghausen moved that in the event Mr. Chandler lets
proper easements and such other required licenses from the existing main on the Cole
property across the adjoining property to Bull Mt. Road, then this district will
install a main there and a meter at ;:, Bull Mt. P,„&d al
Mr. Chandler's cost and expense the main to be the property of the district after in-
stallation - Carried.

NOTICR IS HERSBY GIVEN THAT THS Tax Budget Committee of Tigard Water District,
'Washington County, Oregon, has certified and adopted the following tax budget for
the District for the year ending 1951, providing for a tax levy of
that the Board of Commissioners for said
District will hold a meeting for the public discussion thereof at the (trade School
at Tigard. Oregon. within the District, at 8:00 o'clock p.m.
that the said District has outstanding as of June 30, 1950 current general obligation
bonds in the total amount of )54,000.00.
