07/10/1956 - Minutes ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY SIXTH REGULAR MEETING TIGARD WATER DISTRICT TIGARD OREGON July 10, 1956 Present;- Leonard L. Nodland, President, C.E.Janoe, Sam Graham, F.K.Held, Commissioners, J.P.Lohrenz Supt., C.E.Wheelock Atty. The President opened the meeting in the regular manner. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Since Sam Graham could not attend the Board Meeting of the Tualatin Fire District July 11, 1956 at Tualatin Oregon, the President appointed F.K.Held as a substitute. A motion was made by C.E.Janoe and seconded by Sam Graham that the Superintendent be given authority to execute the following:- FiRS T Obtain from Engineer C.E.Carter, planns and specificati ons and costs of a new well, which will supply a steady flow of 500 gallons of water per minute, and- SECOND To inspect several sites in the Bull Mountain area, and select one that will best serve the needs of the District. THIRD To enter into negotions with the property owner of the site, for a lease, for the purpose of drilling a well, with option to purchase same if a good flow of water is obtained. The motion carried. Amotion was made by C.E.Janoe and seconded by F.K.Held that we hire Earnest Masters of Beaverton Oregon accountant to audit Books of the Tigard Water District. To be included in this audit is a Budget Report. The motion carried. °' A motion was made by Sam Graham and seconded by F.K.Held that the bills be paid as listed. The motion carried.
