07/11/1956 - Minutes A REPORT OF THE SPECIAL COMMITTEE MEETING AT TUALATIN OREGON July 11, 1956 The Committee as appointed by the President consisting of C.E.Janoe, Chairman, F.K.Held and H.M.Propst to take notes, attended the Board meeting of the Tualatin Fire District at Tualatin Oregon July 11, 1956 at $ o'clock P.M. ...' The purpose of the Committee meeting with the Tualatin Fire District Board was to find out if they still would recognize the agreement between them and the Tigard Water District, since some of the dates int the agreement have not been met. Mr. Gardie the President of the Tualatin Fire District asked the Committee to state its business. C.E.Janoe stated that the date for completion of the building was not met, due to various delays and increased costs of material. Various details of construction and management of the Hall were talked about, such as the use of the kitchen,and the Community Hall. It was decided that these details could be worked out later. C.E.Janoe stated that the Tigard Water District did not want to have any thing to do with the management of any part of the building except its own office. The Tualatin Fire District Board stated that they did not want to let us down and that the details could be worked out satisfactry to both parties. They suggested that a special meeting of the two Boards with their attornies to meet jointly to go over the matter be arranged. It was how ever the opinion that we could go on with the original agreement. It was agreed that the special meeting of the joint Boards should be held on a Sunday so that it would be easier for all members to be present. The Committee then left the room --J-1---`- ;/ Sec , �?
