Present, Leonard L.Nodland, President, C.E.Janoe, Sam Graham, A.J.
Chavez Commissioners, J.P.Lohrenz Supt. , E. Carter Eng., E.J.Rieher
and S.H.Steele.
The purpose of the special meeting was to give more time to the
discussion of the proposed new well.
The meeting was called to order in the regular manner by the President.
The discussion was opened by giving E.J.Rieher the floor to present
his proposal on the well cite, His proposal is as follows:-
He proposed a cite 100 feet wide, or frontage, with a depth of
125 feet from the center of the road, for a price of $ 2000.00.,
The above proposal has the following conditions:-
Not to construct a steel tank.
Top of the proposed tank not to extend above the floor level of
his house, so as to obstruct his view.
No fence or trees to obstruct the view.
tivantedsome kind of guarantee that the well would not spoil
his well.
Wanted the privelege of using our well we dug, in ca,.o :i .s-
banled our well and it caused his to go dry.
Alldirt excavated to be put on his property and not dumped
across the road.
Wanted special privileges for pipe line and meter connections,
but the Board instructed him that the regular Bull Mountain con-
ditions, regulations and rates would apply to him.
Mr. S.H.Steele of R 2 Box 332 Tigard, Oregon was given the floor
to present his proposal. He stated thFt we could have a cite on his
property 125 feet frontage with a depth of 150 feet with one 3/4 inch
meter for a price of $ 500.00. He futher stated that we could do what
we wanted to with the property. That is there would be no restrictions.
Next a letter from John M.Burge of Route 4, Sherwood, Oregon was read
concerning a cite on his property. His letter is a part of these
minutes. He stated that a well developement on his property would in-
terfere with his planns for developement of his propwrty, and that he
would rather we would not use his cite.
C.E.Janoe moved and SamGEraham seconded, that the Tigard Water District
shoud not drill a well or install pipe until the Walnut Avenue pipe
line is assured. The motion carried.
A.J.Chavez moved and Sam Graham Seconded, that we take an option on
a well cite 125 feet wide and 150 feet long on the property of S.H.
Steele, for a period of eight months, at a price of $ 100.00. The
motion carried. The option is for the purpose of determining if the
cite will supply a sufficient amount of water, also to see if the
Walnut Avenue pipe line will develope.
Sam Graham moved and A.J.Chavez seconded that the meeting adjourn.
The motion arried.

resolution was pesssd as follows;-

ion on a well cite 125 fart aide and 150 feat long on the property
of S.ki.jteel, for a period of eight months, at a price of 100.00.
The notice carried.
The above is your authority to bo ahead and negotiate she above
optieS. The option is for the purpose of determining the pipe
line project on Walnut avenue will nature, also tot out if the
well cite will supply sufficient amount of water to meet our needs.
