Mr. Nicoll called the meeting to order at 7:35 P.M. MUTES of October 8, 1968 were adopted as written. Motion made by 1117Tire1-right and seconded by Mr. Johnson. Motion carried. At. Kenneth Bunn and Commissioners held a discussion on signing Petition for Annexation of the #1 4011 site property to the City of Ilgard in order that paving could be done on a me, road to be constructedtrunning East from Pacific Hwy. past the Presbyterian Church and l well site. The cost of paving would be approximately $14.00 a foot or 1/2 of that amount ($7.00) per running foot cost for the Tigaed Water District property. Motion made by At. Johnson and seconded by Kr. Nodlend for M . Carroll to contact the Presbyterian Church (Rev. Cajton) to see if they want Tigard Water District to dedicate land for roadway. (ref. Agreement between Tigard Water District and Presbyterian Church) Notion carried. ENGINEER'S REPORT At. Carter presented two drains on proposed ilT5iFars arTrwell site and Bull Mt. Adkins and Betty Mae Adkins; Raymond Meyer and Mary J. Meyer. Motion carried. ELECTION Mt. Wheelwright made a motion that the following Judges ni7E1aion be appointed: Lena Nunnenkamp, Hazel Adams and Virginia L. Staehnke. Notion carried. The election to be held December 2, 1968 at Tigard Water District Office bet,een 2:00 and 'aria 8:00 P.M. The election is for Comnissioner for expiring term held by Mr. Nicoll. No signed Nominating Petitions in office at this date. Three notices are to be posted and one notice to appear in the Tigard Times November 21, 1968. Page 2 AD.'4INISlATOR'S REPORT Et. Carroll advised the Commissioners that the Tualatin Fire Department was asking for paint to maintain the fire hydrants in the Water District. It was agreed that Tigard Water District would furnish the paint. After discussion, Mt. Wheelwright made a motion, seconded by Na'. Nodland; in addition to present allowance of $50.00 per month to Et. Carroll for car expenses, Tigard Water District is to provide gasoline for his car. Motion carried. POTENT OF VOUCHERS Motion made by 1r. Wheelwright and seconded by W. Johnson that the disbursements as listed be approved for Payment. Motion carried.
