Mr. Wheelwright called the meeting to order at 7:41 P.M.
MINUTES of April 8, 1969 were adopted as written. Motion made by
Mr. 'Nicoli and seconded by Mr. Nodland. Motion carried.
Mr. Harris„ (Consulting Engineer) attended meeting in regard to installation
. ofwater main extension to serve Bellwood Subdivision - Unit 1.
Hr. Harris was informed by the Commissioners that J. W. Bracer, Inc. could
proceed with development (water installation) with provisions:
2. Approval of Tigard Water District's Engineer.
2. Approval of Contractor by' Tigard Water District.
3. Individual services be' installed by Developer at time of
water main installation.
At time of meter installations the charge will be reduced by $55.00 each
as services will have been installed at time of water line installation.
It was agreed that the amount for District overhead, engineering, supv.,
(137.) of' Estimated Cost be advanced to the Tigard Water District
before starting with installation of water lines. (Above to be confirmed
by letter)

Mrs. Walker informed the Commissioners that it is difficult to obtain
the cost of installation of water lines for the Asset Account #173
when Developers install the lines. It was suggestee that the "Estimated
Cost" by the Engineer could be used when this difficulty occurra.
Art Taylor, (Assistant Fire Chief of Tualatin Rural. Fire District)
After discussion on duplication of ;nater systema by Metzger Water District
and Tigard Water District, Mr. Taylor agreed to set up joint meeting
with Heatsger Water District, City of Tigard and Tigard Water District
to discuss possibility of eliminating duplication and to discuss means
of providing better fire protection by both Districts.
Donnel N. Williams
Mr. Williams attended meeting to verify approval of Petition for
Annexation as he wants to extend line on Fern Street to serve his
property at Lot 6, Handy Acree.
ENGINEER'S REPORT Mr. Carter reported on progress on construction of
reservoir, Baylor ring and 12" Supply Line.
After discussion on cold tar enamel and white vinyl for reservoir coating;
motion was made by Mr. Johnson, seconded by Mr. Nicoll to accept low
bid on reservoir - with cold tar enamel. Motion carried.

and sign two Petitions for Annexation. 1. Signed by Donnel N. Williams

land approximately 33' x 214' which is a portion of a Lot designated es
#9, situated in Section 11, Township 2 South, Range 1 West, W.M.;
in Tigardville Heights; for a price of $2,000.00. Motion carried.
Mr. Baines to draw up the papers.
PATERSON request for meter installation for Lot 72 - Leron Heights
without paying rebate to Stessen Realty on line installed on 121st
Ave. to provide water to Summers Hills Park prior to development of
Lenon Heights.
After discussion on above, it was agreed that Mr. Baines would check
statute and send copies for each Commissioner of the Mt. Scott Case.
PAYMENT OF VOUCHERS Motion made by Mr. Brown and seconded by Mr.
Nodland that the disbursements as listed be approved for payment.
Motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT Motion made by Mr. Nicoll and seconded by Mr. Nodland to
adjourn meeting at 9s40 P.I . Motion carried.
