CITY OF TIGARD BUILDING DIVISIO!, Tom Hochstatter April 13, 2021 Senior Plans Examiner, City of Tigard RE: 9450 SW Tigard Street tenant improvement Dear Tom: My client Jeff Barrett of Metric Contracting has had two conversations with you regarding this project. The first dealt with the barrier removal and an accessible route into the building. After Jeff discussed the exterior building issues with you it was determined that creating an Accessible toilet room would suffice for the barrier removal requirements for this project, so this is what we have designed. The second conversation Jeff had with you was in regard the maximum common path of egress travel distance. For an F occupancy with sprinklers Table 1006.2.1 allows 100'. The actual distance in this project from the F occupancy portion of the plan is 103'. You told Jeff that since this is an existing building 103' meets the intent of the Code so this what we are showing on the plans. I look forward to your review of the project.
